No. 46 AUTOMATIC CROSSING GATE
1939-1942

Lionel Prewar 46 crossing gate with peripherals including the original cardboard insert, 46-11 envelope dated 3-41, 153C Contactor, 2 No. 81-32 black wire coils, 47-73 miniature bulb with lantern, and 47-51 instruction sheet dated 4-41. This is the aluminum-painted pedestrian gate version. Produced from 1939-1942.

1942

Lionel prewar O gauge 46 automatic crossing gate factory new still wrapped in the original paper with cardboard insert in original OB. Also included is the original packet with 153C contactor and instruction sheet. This is the harder to find version with gray pedestrian gate, circa 1942.

Lionel Standard Gauge 61 lamppost in state brown color. Offered from 1914-1942 in a number of color variations. This is a later version as the base is 2-1/2 inches square. The earlier versions had bases that measured 2-1/2 x 2-3/8 inches.

1921 – 1935

Lionel 69 Electric Warning Signal version with white pole, stamped red lettering, and two bells. Also included is an original nice box, section of track, and instructions.  Typical flaking on base. Double bell version is later version. Produced from 1921-1935 for both Standard Gauge (69) and “O” Gauge (O69). The double bell version started in 1927.

Lionel prewar standard gauge 71 telegraph set in original box. Set includes six No. 60 gray telegraph posts with maroon cross arms and clear insulators, The insert is very nice and clean and there are still four brass pins with which to attach the posts to the insert. Offered from 1921-1931

1927-1942

Lionel Standard Gauge 87 railroad crossing signal with tan base, orange box, ivory head, and light orange bullseye. “CAUTION DRIVE SLOWLY” is rubber stamped on three sides with “MADE BY LIONEL CORPORATION NEW YORK”  embossed on the fourth side. Offered from 1927-1942 with multiple color variations. This is the earliest variation.

1932 – 1934

Lionel prewar O gauge 099 train control block signal with black base, red ladder, ivory pole, packet with two lock-ons, fiber wires, track with insert, track clip, inspection tag and instruction sheet in OB that has original paper wrap. Produced 1932-1935. The black version was produced from 1932-1934.

No. 100 BRIDGE APPROACHES
1920-1931

Lionel Standard Gauge 100 bridge approaches. Made 1920-1931. Consists of two 14” enameled metal bridge ramps with track sections. Ramps are tan with gray decks and correct tinplate-tie track sections. Ramps are same as would come with combination 3 or more piece bridges, such as No 101, so are only a legitimate No 100 if they are in the original box

No. 112 ILLUMINATED LIONEL CITY STATION
1931 – 1934

Lionel prewar standard gauge 112 illuminated Lionel City station with terra cotta base, beige walls, apple green window inserts, roof, and skylights, maroon doors and brass clock inserts. Produced from 1931 to 1934. This is the later color version with the apple green roof. The earlier version has a pea green roof.

Lionel Prewar 115 station with ivory walls, vermillion base, roof, windows, and doors. This station had an automatic train control unit as seen in on the roof. Produced from 1935-1942 and again from 1946-1949. This is a later version.

1935 – 1937

Lionel 116 station made between 1935 and 1942 in two versions. From 1935 to 1937, they featured a Mojave base and cream walls. From 1937 onwards they featured a red base and cream walls. This is the earlier version.

No. 120 METAL STANDARD GAUGE TUNNEL
1922 – 1927

Lionel 120 Metal Standard Gauge Tunnel. Hand painted steel tunnel that includes grey bridges, houses with cream walls, red roof, and chimney. The chimney dates this as the last version of the 120 tunnels. The earlier version did not have the chimneys on the houses. Produced from 1922-1927. A 1927 Macy’s shipping label is on one side of the box.

1927 – 1942

Lionel prewar standard gauge 120L metal illuminated tunnel early version with houses with cream walls and chimneys and red roofs. Orange fences with cream posts. Produced from 1927-1942. This is the earlier version with cream walls on the houses. The later version had yellow walls on the houses.

1930 – 1932

Lionel prewar standard gauge 163 freight station set containing; two red 157 hand trucks, 162 dump car with orange frame and peacock dump and a 161 pea green baggage truck in a yellow OB that has a white end label with black lettering, Late colors. Produced 1930-1932.

No. 200 TURNTABLE
1928 – 1933

Lionel 200 Standard Gauge Turntable. Made by Lionel between 1928 and 1933. They came in four variations. This one is the pea green base with the red rotating disk. Comprised of a central disc containing section of straight track which rotates by means of a hand turned brass wheel and gear mechanism to align with any of the eight short, straight tracks fitted with track pins to connect to the sidings. Measures 17 inches in diameter.

No. 300 HELL GATE BRIDGE
1928 – 1934

Lionel Standard Gauge 300 Hell Gate Bridge. Looking remarkably like the Hell Gate Bridge on the East River of the Hudson in New York, these bridges were made by Lionel from 1928 to 1942. This particular color version was made between 1928 and 1934 only. It features a terracotta base, cream towers, green sides, brass plates, railings and stanchions.

No. 435 POWER STATION WITH GRAY BASE
1928 – 1936

Lionel prewar standard gauge 435 power station with gray base, mustard walls, terra cotta roof cornices, pea green skylight and windows, dark green window and door frames, maroon doors, Mojave chimney base, red chimney, and brass plates in worn OB. Produced 1926-1938. This version is in early colors.

No. 437 SWITCH SIGNAL TOWER (with Red base)
1926 – 1937

Lionel Standard Gauge 437 switch signal tower. Made between 1926 and 1937, these accessories measure 10 and a quarter inches x 8 and three eighths of an inch x 8 and 7 eighths of an inch in height. There were five different variations – all based on the color schemes used. This piece is the rarest of the five and features a red base, yellow lower walls, brown band between floors, yellow upper walls, orange roof, red door, green windows, a cream chimney, and nickel knife switches. Produced from 1926-1937 in multiple color variations.

No. 437 SWITCH SIGNAL TOWER (with Mojave base)
1926 – 1937

Lionel prewar standard gauge 437 switch signal tower with Mojave base, burnt orange lower walls, off-white band between floors, mustard upper walls, pea green roof, maroon door, peacock windows, vermilion trim under the dormer, and red lithographed chimney. The paper instruction label is affixed to the underside of the tower and is mostly intact. Knife switches are mounted on the back. Produced from 1926-1937 in multiple color variations.

Lionel Standard Gauge 437 Switch Signal Tower with burnt orange lower wall, ivory band between walls, light mustard upper wall, dark green roof, lithographed chimney, 6 factory installed knife edge switches, 4 turnout controllers. Produced from 1926-1937 in various color schemes.
