General Information
The No. 1692 Pullman and No. 1693 Observation Passenger Cars were available from 1936 through 1939. The No. 1692, 1693 Passenger Cars were offered in promotional uncataloged sets only. These cars did not appear in the Lionel catalog. The No. 1692, 1693 Passenger Cars measure 7 1/2-inches in length. The passenger cars have lithographed sides and ends with a painted roof and frame. The lithographed bodies are greenish blue with cream windows and doors. The roofs are painted a matching color. The frames were painted light blue. The No. 1690, 1691 Passenger Cars have no floor pans (often referred to as “fish bellies”), no journals and latch couplers. These passenger cars were not illuminated.
There are no variations of the No. 1692, No. 1693 Passenger Cars.
