Lionel No. 043 Bild-A-Motor Gear Set
Lionel No. 1 Bild-A-Motor
General Information
The Lionel No. 1 Bild-A-Motor was introduced in 1928 and was cataloged through 1931. The No. 1 Bild-A-Motor utilized an “O” Gauge motor mounted on a steel base. It has gears, sprockets and pulley wheels that are attached to the motor to operate separate accessories. It has two terminals on the base to attach leads from a transformer or other power source to operate the motor. The Bild-A-Motor has a three-speed gear mechanism and was reversing. The Bild-A-Motor has nickel-plated sides and a red or black base. The Bild-A-Motor measures 5 ½-inches long, 3-inches wide and 3-inches tall.

Lionel No. 043 Bild-A-Motor Gear Set
General Information
The Lionel No. 043 Bild-A-Motor Gear Set was available in 1929 only. The No. 043 Bild-A-Motor Gear Set included a steel base, gears and pulleys to convert a Bild-A-Loco into a reversible, three-speed stationary Bild-A-Motor.
