1945 THRU 1949 CATALOGS ARE DOCUMENTED BELOW
When we were all a lot younger we waited every year for the LIONEL catalog to come out. Some of us learned to read studying each and every page. We learned math figuring out the discounted price from cataloged price and then figuring out the tax. Next checking how much we had saved during the year mowing lawns and shoveling snow. We wore them out looking and dreaming about adding a piece or two to our layout. LIONEL had a big part in whom we became.
