Lionel Standard Gauge 516 Hopper Car circa 1934. This is the “Special d” variation noted in Greenberg’s Guide to Lionel Trains Standard and 2&7/8” Gauges. This variation has red body, coal load, no lettered data, brass trim, brass plates with black lettering, T3 brake wheels, D-washer fasteners, nickel journals, 7f-st springs.
