Lionel No. 1712 Caboose
General Information
The Ives No. 1712 Caboose was offered by Lionel in the 1932 Ives Catalog only. The No. 1712 Caboose was also offered in a promotional uncataloged set in 1934-35. The No. 1712 Caboose has latch couplers and measures 9 1/2-inches in length. The caboose has lithographed sides and ends with a painted roof and cupola. The cupola is the same color as the roof. The frame is black. The car has copper journals.
