Lionel No. 2755 Tank Cars

General Information

The Lionel No. 2755 Sunoco Tank Car s were introduced in 1941 and were issued through 1942. The No. 2755 Sunoco Tank Car always had operating couplers. The No. 2755 Sunoco Tank Cars measure 9-inches in length. The tank car bodies and domes were always painted a single color. All of the tank cars have decals applied to the sides for “S.U.N.X. 2755”, the “Sunoco” diamond and capacity data. The tank cars have black handrails, ladders and journals. The tank cars have a black diecast frame with black steps in the corners, a black brake wheel, and black diamond placard holders. The cars have late style operating box couplers.

Variations of the No. 2755 Tank Cars include different body color, either silver or gray.
